The Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies and the Postgraduate Qualifying Program are Griffith University’s bridging programs. They are designed in consultation with Griffith University and are moderated by the university. QIBT Diploma programs are based on the first year of the equivalent Griffith University Bachelor degree program. In choosing to study at QIBT, you will be receiving a Diploma of the highest quality that is moderated by Griffith University.

University campus

QIBT is located on Griffith University’s Mt Gravatt campus. You will enjoy full access to all of the university facilities and services including libraries, computer laboratories, sporting facilities, on-campus accommodation and employment services. Griffith University’s teaching rooms are well equipped with audio visual equipment including data projectors and DVD players.

Smaller classes

Lectures contain an average of only forty students and are complimented by small group tutorials and workshops. In keeping with our supportive approach, QIBT provides more teaching hours per course. Instead of the traditional three-hour teaching block, QIBT classes are four-hour sessions. This extra academic contact allows you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each course.

We report regularly to, and are audited by, government departments to ensure that QIBT complies with all Australian government legislation and guidelines at both state and federal levels.

To ensure that QIBT provides quality education and services to international students, QIBT is registered as a Higher Education Provider and we deliver programs in compliance with the Commonwealth Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act. Our institution and programs are also registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

Flexibility

Whether your results are released in December or August, there is an intake for you. QIBT provides the flexibility of three intakes a year in:

* Entry into second year university is dependent on students passing the QIBT Diploma. Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents must obtain the required grade point average (GPA). Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents who successfully complete QIBT’s Diploma of Graphic Design must apply for the Bachelor of Design at Griffith University via the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and meet the relevant entry criteria.
