I am studying the Mixed English and Academic Program (MEAP) and Diploma of Hotel Management at QIBT.  MEAP has helped me to improve my English language skills and apply it to the content I learn in my academic subject. The topics being taught in the English class are very much related to the academic subject. You get to learn the academic side such as the format of a report, academic communication, technical words to use, etc and not just purely general English.

I like my English teachers teaching style. She is very detailed and explains everything clearly to the students. There is no confusion with the timetable and the entire program is very well organised.  I would recommend this program to future students as not only do you get to improve your English language skills, but you also get to study 1 academic subject which is credited towards your Diploma or Foundation course. By studying 1 academic subject, I now know what I am expected to study when it comes to my Diploma course.
