Diploma of Graphic Design Scholarship 2009
QIBT is offering two scholarships for the Diploma of Graphic Design in Semester I, 2009. One scholarship will cover 50% of the total tuition fee. The second scholarship will cover 25% of the total tuition fee.
The Diploma of Graphic Design consists of 8 courses from Griffith University’s internationally recognised Bachelor of Design.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
- Have satisfied QIBT's entry requirements
- Have achieved a minimum average equivalent of 60% in their high school final year grades (minimum OP 12)

- Apply for the QIBT Design scholarship directly to QIBT by sending QIBT a 500 word statement telling us why you are most qualified for a Design scholarship and your plans for a career in design

Don't forget to include full name and contact details in your statement; name, telephone, email and postal address. A portfolio is not required, however, you may submit portfolio material if you feel it will add weight to your scholarship application. All portfolio information must be submitted on CD with your statement and/or application. CDs will not be returned and QIBT will not accept hard copy paintings, drawings etc.

Please note: The scholarship tuition fee credit will be awarded in the second semester of study, after the successful candidates have passed all 4 subjects in the first semester.
QIBT Family Bursary
QIBT offers financial support in the form of family bursaries. A bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study with QIBT. The first family member can be studying with QIBT at the same time as other family members or may have previously studied with any Navitas member institution. For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter or stepchildren.
The bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who study with QIBT. The bursary is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for one program only (ie. Certificate IV, Diploma or PQP) and is credited to the eligible student’s tuition fee account each semester (the amount being relevant to the number of units undertaken in that semester). The bursary does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken.
