QIBT offers a university foundation program, which provides a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies.
The Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies (the Griffith University foundation program) is designed to adequately prepare you for entry to university level programs in the Commerce, Design, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Engineering, Health, Science, Arts and Education fields. The Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies consists of eight courses of study. Successful completion of the program with the necessary grades guarantees you entry to Griffith University.
In addition to formal contact hours, QIBT provides you with extra support through individual consultation with teachers, tutorials in mathematics and English language, and self access computer laboratories.
Upon successful completion of the foundation program, you may choose to undertake a Diploma of Commerce, Graphic Design, Hotel Management or Information Technology then articulate into the second year of the relevant Bachelor degree programs at Griffith University. As well as smaller classes and additional academic support offered in the Diploma programs, you may also fast-track your studies with QIBT’s three semester academic calendar.
Duration: 2 semesters full-time (8 months) or 3 semesters full-time (12 months)
