Tourism and Hospitality is still one of the faster growth industries around the globe. The Diploma of Hotel Management delivers courses from Griffith University's internationally recognised Bachelor of Business (Hotel Management). In addition to quality classroom experiences with lecturers, you will gain valuable training and work experience in leading hotels and restaurants - you may even obtain paid employment during your studies. Whilst studying the Diploma, you will learn about the service industry in general, basic hotel operations and basic management and accounting skills.

Two courses will be delivered by Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE (MSIT) at the Alexandra Hills and Mt Gravatt campuses, Brisbane.

The purchase of uniforms and equipment at an approximate cost of A$762 and the undertaking of 80 hours of work experience is required for you to graduate from the Diploma of Hotel Management.

Duration: 2 semesters full-time (8 months) or 3 semesters full-time (12 months)
